National Assembly Chairman offers incense to commemorate Uncle Ho

On the eve of the Lunar New Year 2013, on February 6, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung offered incense and paid tribute to Uncle Ho at House 67, part of the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace.

House 67 - named after the year of construction and completion (1967) was built under the direction of the Politburo to arrange a workplace for Uncle Ho to prevent the destructive war of the US imperialists in the North. This was also the place where Uncle Ho received leaders from the Central Office of the South, from Military Region V to meet and work such as Mr. Nguyen Van Linh, Mr. Vo Chi Cong...

Respectfully bowing before the spirit of the great President Ho Chi Minh, on behalf of the National Assembly, voters and people nationwide, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung expressed his deep emotion and remembered the great contributions of beloved Uncle Ho.

Implementing his will and wishes, the National Assembly has always fulfilled its duty of representing the will and aspirations of voters and people nationwide; constantly innovating and improving the quality and efficiency of its operations, together with the entire Party, people and army, building the country for the goal of a rich people, a strong country, democracy, fairness and civilization.

National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung praised the staff of the relic site for completing their task of preserving and protecting intact the artifacts associated with Uncle Ho's life.

The National Assembly Chairman also noted that the staff of the relic site need to make more efforts in preserving cultural heritage and continue to play a good role as a bridge, conveying the thoughts, ethics and style of Uncle Ho to people across the country and international friends./.
