Implementing Resolution 26 of the Politburo for intellectuals and artists

(Baonghean.vn) -On September 24, in Vinh city, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department held a conference to study, disseminate and implement Resolution No. 26 of the Politburo on the direction and tasks for the development of Nghe An province until 2020 for intellectuals and artists in the whole province. Attending the conference were comrade To Hong Hai - member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department.
Resolution 26 of the Politburo is of great significance, opening up a direction for the comprehensive socio-economic development of Nghe An - the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh. This is the first time the Politburo has issued a Resolution on a locality (excluding centrally-run cities).
Conference scene
With that importance and significance, the Conference listened to the report on the content of Resolution 26 of the Politburo on the direction and tasks for the development of Nghe An province until 2020; the draft action program to implement Resolution 26 of the Provincial Party Committee. It mentioned the general tasks and basic goals: Striving to build Nghe An into a fairly developed province in the Northern region by 2015, creating the foundation for it to basically become an industrial province by 2020; in which, focusing on shifting the economic structure towards industrialization and modernization in accordance with the characteristics and position of the province. To achieve the above goals, the draft proposed solutions in the process of implementing the Action Program with 6 groups of work contents, 28 specific programs and projects in all fields.
The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department hopes that through studying and thoroughly understanding, it will create full, deep awareness and high consensus among intellectuals and artists, proactively participating, contributing intelligence with the Party Committee and people of the province, determined to bring Resolution 26 into life with high results.
