Accordingly, the Da Nang – Seoul route will operate three flights per week on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays using Airbus A321 aircraft. Flights will depart from Da Nang City at 00:05 and from Seoul at 9:30 (local time), with a flight time of approximately 4 hours (outbound) and nearly 5 hours (return).

The Da Nang - Siem Reap route operates with a frequency of 1 flight/day, departing from Da Nang City at 2:10 PM and from Siem Reap at 5:15 PM (local time) using an ATR-72 aircraft, with a flight time of 2 hours and 25 minutes.
To celebrate the launch of the new route, Vietnam Airlines will be offering tickets at discounted prices.

Specifically, round-trip airfares on the Da Nang - Seoul and Da Nang - Siem Reap routes are VND 5,940,000 and VND 1,738,000 respectively, equivalent to about 50% of the regular price.

The above fares apply to individual passengers with tickets issued in Vietnam from now until December 31, 2013, and for journeys departing from July 1 to December 31, 2013. Prices exclude taxes, fees, and surcharges.

The Da Nang - Seoul and Da Nang - Siem Reap routes are two complementary flights, creating a more diverse and convenient product for customers from the Korean market traveling to Central Vietnam, and from there, making it easier to connect to Cambodia.

Along with the four existing routes connecting Vietnam and South Korea from Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City and three routes to Cambodia operated by Vietnam Airlines, the Da Nang - Seoul and Da Nang - Siem Reap routes will be convenient transportation links, contributing to promoting trade, economic cooperation, culture, and tourism between Vietnam in particular and the CLMV sub-region (comprising Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam) in general with the Northeast Asian region.

According to Vietnam Airlines, the two new routes to Seoul and Siem Reap are the second and third new international routes launched by Vietnam Airlines this year, thereby expanding the airline's network to 90 routes to 28 international and 21 domestic destinations.
