In Nghi Loc district, at 2:00 p.m. on September 20, Nguyen Sy Phuc, born in 1996, residing in hamlet 9, Nghi Cong Bac commune, Nghi Loc district, was also swept away by floodwaters while riding a motorbike over Nghi Cong - Nghi My spillway. In Yen Thanh, at 4:00 p.m. on September 20, Nguyen Thi Tra My, 6 years old, residing in Dong Thanh hamlet, Quang Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, was also drowned by floodwaters.

Currently, the rescue work is being actively carried out by the Provincial People's Committee, especially the rescue work, searching for people who were swept away in Khe Ang - Nghia Hong.
