The rate of investigation and discovery of crimes violating social order reached 76.6%, serious and especially serious cases reached 90%.

Investigation agencies at all levels have directed to rectify limitations and shortcomings in the investigation work, speed up the investigation of key cases that the public is interested in, and review pending cases to resolve them completely. The work of preventing economic crimes and corruption has received strong attention and direction, and many long-standing cases have been resolved completely. A number of serious cases, especially in the field of finance and banking, have been discovered and investigated promptly.

The Government's report clearly stated that since the beginning of the year, a number of crimes against social order have decreased compared to 2012, such as murder by over 4.3%, robbery by over 12%, resisting law enforcement officers by nearly 10%... but the nature of the crimes is more serious. Particularly, murder due to social causes accounts for over 86% of murder cases. The main cause is assessed to be due to conflicts that break out in social relationships. Even the murder of family members occurs frequently, demonstrating the alarming decline in social morality, many murder cases with very savage and brutal acts have caused outrage in public opinion.
