Each trip lasts from 7 to 15 days, the average catch of Quynh Luu fishermen is from 10-15 tons of herring, spotted sardines and several dozen tons of other types of fish.

Mr. Nguyen Van Trung - a fisherman in Son Hai commune said that on average, each fishing boat in Son Hai commune makes 2-3 trips/month, each trip catches 10-15 tons of various types of fish, mainly spotted fish, with a revenue of 300-400 million VND/month. After deducting expenses, each fisherman earns 15-20 million VND/month, and the boat owner alone earns a profit of 80-100 million VND.
