Recognition of universal preschool education for 5-year-old children in Quynh Luu

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of November 7, a working delegation from the Department of Education and Training had a working session with Quynh Luu district, announcing the conclusion of the inspection and recognition of universal preschool education standards for 5-year-old children in Quynh Luu.

Recently, the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An province organized an inspection team to recognize the completion of universal preschool education for 5-year-old children in Quynh Luu district. The inspection content includes the implementation of universal preschool education for 5-year-old children, checking records, conditions of facilities, equipment, quality of care and nurturing, and teaching staff.

The results of the inspection show that Quynh Luu district has effectively directed and invested in the work of universalizing education. The physical facilities of the classrooms are generally spacious, clean and beautiful, with relatively adequate equipment, toys and toys for children. The awareness of the Party committees, authorities and people about the purpose and significance of universalizing preschool education for 5-year-old children has been raised, with attention paid to investment in physical facilities.

The District People's Committee and the Department of Education of Quynh Luu have proactively arranged additional teachers for preschools to ensure the conditions and standards for universal preschool education for 5-year-old children according to regulations. The whole district has 31/33 preschools that meet the conditions and standards for universalization, reaching a rate of over 93%.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Thai Huy Vinh - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training announced the conclusion recognizing Quynh Luu district as meeting the standards for universal preschool education for 5-year-old children in 2013. At the same time, he requested Quynh Luu district and the district Department of Education and Training to pay attention to and invest in renovating classrooms; complete documents to maintain and improve the quality of universal education; improve the quality of management staff, teachers and service teachers.
