Vinh City opens lifelong learning week 2013

(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of October 3, Vinh City People's Committee coordinated with Nghi Lien Commune Community Learning Center to open the 2013 Lifelong Learning Response Week.

Attending the event were Dr. Nguyen Hong Son, Deputy Director of the Department of Continuing Education, Ministry of Education and Training.

The “Lifelong Learning Response Week” is held annually to remind people of the importance and significance of lifelong learning and building a learning society. This year’s Lifelong Learning Response Week in Vinh City was launched to continue raising awareness of lifelong learning and building a learning society; at the same time, improving the educational provision capacity of educational institutions and non-school educational institutions in meeting the lifelong learning needs of the people. This is also an activity that contributes to improving the quality of life, building new rural areas, and effectively implementing the Project “Building a learning society in the 2012-2013 period”.
