Tuong Duong: Half term of congress - many targets achieved and exceeded

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of June 17, the Tuong Duong District Party Committee held a mid-term review conference, reviewed the implementation process and discussed solutions to continue fulfilling the targets of the Resolution of the 25th District Party Congress, term 2010-2015.

According to the assessment of the District Party Committee, 18/27 targets and target groups are expected to achieve and exceed the goals set by the congress. Of which, the target group on Party building, training and fostering cadres, and building mass organizations has 8/9 contents achieved and exceeded. To achieve the set targets, Tuong Duong District Party Committee has issued many directives and resolutions, assigning specific cadres to preside over, including the Secretaries, Deputy Secretaries of the District Party Committee, Standing Committee members, and District Party Committee members to preside over the Programs and Projects and establish a Steering Committee to implement 12 socio-economic-national security and defense programs.

In the process of implementing the Congress Resolution, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee strengthened the direction and urged departments, authorities and organizations to actively implement at the grassroots level. The programs and projects when implemented were linked to the content of good implementation of "grassroots democracy regulations", enhancing the people's supervisory role, especially policies, programs and projects directly related to the interests of the people.

However, there are many areas where it is difficult to complete the congress's goals such as: economic growth rate, afforestation, construction of transportation systems to commune centers, construction of cultural institutions at village-commune level, reduction of poverty rate... The mid-term conference of Tuong Duong district objectively recognized and evaluated two and a half years of implementing the congress's resolutions, and discussed solutions to promote implementation in the coming time.

Accordingly, in addition to effectively exploiting and using programs and projects invested by the Central and the province, the district has increased the mobilization of resources for socio-economic development. Continue to promote the study and follow the moral example of Ho Chi Minh in conjunction with the implementation of Resolution 4 of the Party Central Committee (11th tenure) on "Some urgent issues in Party building at present". Strengthen the inspection and supervision of Party committees at all levels, People's Councils, the Fatherland Front and the people in the process of deploying and organizing the implementation of the Resolution on a regular basis, to promptly overcome and correct weaknesses, promote advantages, and contribute to achieving the highest goals set by the congress.
