Quynh Luu: Organizing the "My Homeland in Nghe An" playground event.
(Baonghean.vn)- On the morning of August 28th, at the Quỳnh Hưng commune stadium, Nghệ An Radio and Television Station, in coordination with Quỳnh Lưu district, organized the "My Homeland in Nghệ An" playground event.
The event features two traditional craft villages representing 22 craft villages in Quynh Luu district: Thuong Nguyen carpentry village in Quynh Hong commune and Quynh Hung carpentry village. The program is a competition between two teams with four segments: My Village, Fun is the Main Thing, Farmer's Stories, and Skillful Hands. In addition, there is an exciting segment for the audience to participate in cheering on the participants.
Rice cooking competitionIn the "My Village" segment, teams will have to introduce the unique characteristics of their village through a theatrical performance centered around praising the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, and their homeland, using genres such as folk songs, chants, comedic plays, and short skits. In the "Fun is the Main Thing" segment, each team will send 6 representatives to participate in a game of cooking Tay Son rice. The "Farmers' Stories" segment is a knowledge quiz focusing on the Party and State's policies in the national program for building new rural areas and general agricultural knowledge.
This is a meaningful platform that fosters unity among communities and, importantly, allows each locality and region to maintain and promote its unique cultural characteristics through songs, dances, and folk games. At the same time, it provides an opportunity for local people to interact, learn, and exchange experiences in their cultural lives and productive work.
