Closing Ceremony of the 18th Nghe An Radio and Television Festival - 2013
On the afternoon of September 16, in Vinh City, the closing ceremony and award ceremony of the 18th Nghe An Radio and Television Festival - 2013 took place. Attending were members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee: Dinh Thi Le Thanh - Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee; To Hong Hai - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, representatives of the Provincial Journalists Association and many reporters, announcers, editors, and technicians of grassroots stations throughout the province.

This is a professional activity, an annual traditional festival of radio and television journalists in Uncle Ho's homeland. This year, the Festival has 30 participating units including professional departments of the provincial radio station, district, city and town radio and television stations, agencies and units: Provincial Border Guard, Military Region IV, Nghe An Police and Health Communication Center - Department of Health.
Nearly 180 works participated in the Festival. Of these, there were 74 radio works and 103 television works in the genres of reportage, good people and good deeds, special topics, discussion forums - dialogues... focusing on main contents such as: "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh" associated with the implementation of Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (term XI) "some urgent issues on Party building today".
According to the Organizing Committee, this year's works are diverse, rich in genre, and have outstanding content quality compared to previous years. In particular, the entries have closely followed the policy of traditional education and propaganda, deeply and vividly reflecting the achievements in the political, economic - cultural - social fields of the homeland, advanced examples in building a new life, eliminating hunger and reducing poverty, overcoming natural disasters, protecting the environment, building new rural areas, fighting against corruption, waste, protecting national security, social order and safety, traffic safety, etc.
These are dedicated and carefully invested works by reporters from the provincial radio station as well as 20 district and urban radio and television stations in the area. Through this festival, the organizing committee will select typical topics and works to participate in the 2013 National Television Festival held in Quang Ninh, and the National Radio Festival - Region 4 held in Nghe An.
