Conference "Bright Eyes for the Elderly"

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of August 15th, the Association of Elderly People, in collaboration with Saigon Eye Hospital - Vinh, organized a communication conference titled "Bright Eyes for the Elderly".

At the conference, attendees received information and advice on cataracts and diabetic retinopathy – two of the most common diseases among the elderly today; they also heard presentations on several documents from the Central Association regarding the "Bright Eyes for the Elderly" program.

This is a practical and meaningful program, organized simultaneously in 62 provinces and cities nationwide. In Nghe An province alone, over the past year, eye examinations have been provided to 45,531 elderly people, and nearly 8,000 people have received free eye treatment, costing 2.2 billion VND.
