2 candidates suspended, 96 students dropped out of the exam.
In the 2013 university and college entrance exams, over 62,000 candidates registered to take the exam at Vinh University and 41 universities in Hanoi, and 38 universities in Ho Chi Minh City. The Vinh exam cluster arranged 1,829 examination rooms divided into 17 clusters and 12 affiliated locations across 94 examination sites. In the two exam sessions at the Vinh cluster, 41,759 candidates participated, achieving a participation rate of 67.27%.

At the end of the 2013 university and college entrance exams, the Vinh examination cluster had 4 candidates who violated regulations and were suspended from the exam. Of these, 3 candidates brought unauthorized materials and mobile phones into the examination room; 1 candidate was not allowed to take the exam due to arriving late. Across both exam sessions, 201 candidates were absent, accounting for 0.32%.
This year's university entrance exam in the Vinh examination cluster was conducted safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations, receiving high praise from the Ministry of Education and Training and public support. This demonstrates the meticulous preparation, invigilation, and security work carried out by the Vinh examination cluster, affirming the correctness and effectiveness of the Ministry of Education and Training's "three common" policy. In particular, with the involvement of relevant departments, including the volunteer youth and student force supporting the exam season, over 5,000 free accommodations were provided for candidates; 5,000 free meals and 6,000 free bottles of mineral water were also distributed.

At the concluding meeting, the Vinh examination cluster steering committee contributed many ideas and made suggestions for better organization in next year's entrance exam: standardizing stationery; standardizing exam paper templates; reducing the number of details and information to be filled in on the exam paper; clearly and specifically assigning tasks to invigilators 1 and 2 and exam center supervisors, ensuring they fulfill their roles and are assigned to the right people…
