Free surgery for children with cleft lip and palate.

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of July 8th, the Nghe An Provincial Children's Protection Fund, in collaboration with Operation Smile (VN), Vietnam-Cuba Hospital, and Hospital 115 (Nghe An), provided free examinations and surgeries for children with cleft lip and palate in the province.

The program ran from July 8th to July 12th. 160 children were examined, of which 120 were scheduled for surgery. Those who were not selected for surgery this time received financial assistance for transportation.

In addition to free surgery, the children also receive financial support for food and transportation. Even after six months post-surgery, they continue to receive support for travel expenses.
