New cars under 400 million for Vietnamese customers

Increased size, more amenities, the small imported car Hyundai Grand i10 has just been launched with a very reasonable price from 359 million VND.

This is the car line that replaces the previous Hyundai Eon and i10 models and is Hyundai's lowest priced option in Vietnam. The Grand i10 was brought to the country quite early, just a few months after its launch in India, where this car line is designed and manufactured by Hyundai.

The exterior of the car is sportier than before with new features in the large radiator grille, front bumper and LED turn signals on the rearview mirror. The rear bumper is also innovated in a more personal direction and goes with the roof spoiler cluster.

Compared to the previous i10 model, the Hyundai Grand i10 has a more spacious design and is better equipped. The car has an overall length of 3,765mm, width of 1,660mm, height of 1,520mm. The wheelbase is 2,425mm, the largest in the small car segment.

The larger size allows for a more spacious cabin while increasing the luggage compartment volume by 30 liters, up to 252 liters. Ground clearance is 167mm.

In the interior, in addition to the innovation in the layout of the center console, the Grand i10 is also equipped with many high-end features for a small, popular car such as push-button start, rear air vents for the air conditioning system, standard reverse sensors...

The car interior is supplemented with many additional equipment.

The Grand i10 has two engine options, including a 1.0-liter version with 66 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 91.2 Nm of torque, and a 1.2-liter version with 87 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 119.7 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The transmission is either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic.

In Vietnam, this car model has 4 different versions: Grand Taxi with the lowest price of 359 million VND, 1.0 MT with the price of 387 million VND, 1.0 AT with the price of 417 million VND and 1.25 AT with the price of 457 million VND. The car has 4 paint colors: silver, white, red, orange.

According to the distributor, Hyundai Grand i10 is expected to achieve sales of 200 to 250 cars/month. This car line will have to "fight" with many competitors such as Chevrolet Spark, Kia Picanto, Mitsubishi Mirage... in a segment that is considered the most difficult to play in the market.
