Hung Nguyen: Meeting with 112 religious party members on the occasion of the Spring of Giap Ngo

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of January 13, Hung Nguyen district organized a meeting with party members who are religious people on the occasion of the Spring of Giap Ngo 2014. Attending the meeting were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee; the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the People's Council, the People's Committee, representatives of relevant departments, offices, branches and unions; party secretaries of 23 communes and towns, party committees, chairmen of the Fatherland Front Committees of communes with religious people and 112 party members of religious origin in the whole district.

Together with the people in the whole district in 2013, the Party members of Catholic origin basically demonstrated their pioneering and exemplary character in all work and actions of Party building, political system and economic development, maintaining political security and social order and safety, for Catholics to follow, well implementing the "7 good lives" in the campaign "All people unite to build cultural life in residential areas, live a good life and good religion": Good economic development, good lifestyle, good social order, good health education, good population program, good civic duty, good environmental protection; the content of "Three good religions": Good in ethics and lifestyle, good in the spirit of charity - love, good in religious life. Especially the donation of land for traffic roads, contribution of working days to build "new rural areas", and Directive No. 08 CT/TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on encouraging "land consolidation, land accumulation". Actively respond and participate in activities to celebrate the 185th anniversary of the birth of patriotic reformer Nguyen Truong To, the 600th anniversary of the birth of famous person Nguyen Bieu, the 7th Hung Nguyen district Sports Festival...

The conference listened to the district leaders report on the socio-economic development, national defense and security construction in 2013 and the orientation for 2014 of the district. The party members of Catholic origin expressed their gratitude to the Party Committees and authorities at all levels for their attention and creating conditions for Catholics to participate in activities to build their homeland and country in the past year, especially joining hands in "building new rural areas". The delegates recommended that the Party Committees and authorities continue to pay attention to materials, fertilizers, and seeds for the people to be more proactive; support funding for special areas in building the political system, especially building cultural houses for the hamlets so that people can participate in meetings more fully; consolidate the broadcasting system to propagate and disseminate the policies, laws of the Party and the State so that the people can receive them promptly; create conditions for key grassroots cadres to meet at the end of the year.
