Comrade Ho Duc Phoc explains voters' opinions

At the meeting, the issue that many voters focused on was the slow process of granting land use right certificates and clearing the Vinh - Cua Lo boulevard. Many voters said that when the government has a policy of reclaiming land for public works, they are willing to move to a new place. However, the compensation price and inventory work are still inadequate, the relocation to the new place must be implemented soon and ensure conditions on area and infrastructure.

Some other issues that many voters continue to propose are: The policy for the elderly is still slow; the 407 canal has not been effective, the water loss situation continues to occur. As a commune with many roads passing through, the province needs to have a decentralization of management and a plan to allocate funds for repair and maintenance; the problem of electricity infrastructure, solving jobs for students after graduation, etc.

Voters express their thoughts and wishes

Representatives of the People's Council and People's Committee at all levels responded to voters' petitions in turn within their authority. Explaining voters' opinions, comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee said: Regarding voters' reflection on the slow progress of the Vinh - Cua Lo road, the province will speed up the progress, in which resettlement will be one step ahead so that people can soon stabilize their lives and activities. The province will direct Vinh City to do this work well. Regarding the planning issue, after the general planning of Vinh City, the communes and wards will be re-planned, including Nghi Duc commune. Some projects are slow to be implemented due to the context of inflation, economic difficulties, and lack of capital. The province will inspect and revoke unreasonable projects; request people to proactively produce on the allocated land.

Regarding the issue of decentralization of traffic management, the province has regulations on decentralization and management. For the maintenance and repair costs of roads, the province has annually allocated a budget. For roads that have been downgraded to provincial level, the Department of Transport will direct the Department of Transport to have a plan to fix them soon. Regarding the slow issuance of land use right certificates, the province directs the city to focus on speeding up the progress so that people can soon receive red books. Regarding the difference in land prices between Nghi Duc commune and other communes, comrade Ho Duc Phoc suggested that the commune government collect people's opinions and recommendations, submit a report to the City, the province will direct the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the City to have reasonable land price regulations.
