Checking preparations for the opening of the Vinh - Vientiane flight route

(Baonghean) -On the afternoon of December 24, the Provincial People's Committee worked with relevant levels and sectors on the progress of construction of Vinh Airport's temporary terminal and the progress of completing procedures related to the operation of the Vinh - Vientiane flight route. Before the working session, the working group inspected the construction progress of the temporary terminal at Vinh airport. Up to now, the temporary terminal has been completed with a construction area of ​​over 800m2; equipment for immigration and emigration has been basically prepared.

At the meeting, representatives of the Department of Transport, Customs Department, Provincial Police, Vinh Airport, Vietnam Airlines... reported on the progress and procedures related to the operation of the Vinh - Vientiane flight route. Currently, the necessary work of the relevant levels and sectors is ready to serve the first flight on January 12, 2014. Concluding the meeting, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged the cooperative efforts of the relevant levels and sectors in preparing for the operation of the Vinh - Vientiane flight route. At the same time, he noted that the Department of Finance, Health, Agriculture, Customs, Provincial Police, Vinh Airport... should coordinate to synchronously implement plans and organize rehearsals for the relevant departments to meet the requirements at the opening ceremony of the new Vinh - Vientiane flight route.
