The purpose of the patriotic emulation movement is:
Eliminate hunger,
Eradicate ignorance.
Defeat the foreign invaders.
The method is based on:
The people's force,
The spirit of the people, to inspire:
Happiness for the people.
Therefore, it is the duty of every Vietnamese citizen, regardless of their profession—whether scholar, farmer, worker, merchant, or soldier—to compete with one another:
Expedite,
Fertilize,
Make a lot of it.
Every Vietnamese citizen, regardless of age, gender, wealth, or social standing, must become a fighter on the front lines: military, economic, political, and cultural. Let's implement the slogan:
The entire nation resists,
Comprehensive resistance.
In the Patriotic Emulation Campaign, we:
While fighting the resistance,
Newly established nation.
The first results of the Patriotic Emulation Campaign will be:
The entire population has enough to eat and wear.
The entire population is literate.
The entire team was fully supplied with food and weapons.
to defeat foreign invaders,
The entire nation will achieve complete independence.
So we did it:
An independent nation,
Civil rights and freedoms,
People's well-being and happiness,
The three principles put forward by the great revolutionary Sun Yat-sen.
To achieve that positive outcome, I would like to request:
The elders compete with each other in encouraging their children and grandchildren to enthusiastically participate in all activities.
The children compete in their studies and help adults with chores.
Wealthy citizens are competing to expand their businesses.
Workers and peasants compete in production.
Intellectuals and professionals compete in creating and inventing.
Government employees compete to work diligently and serve the people.
Soldiers and militiamen competed to kill as many enemies and seize as many weapons as possible.
In short, everyone competed, everyone participated in the resistance and nation-building. The movement was vibrant.
Patriotic emulation will take root and spread throughout all aspects and strata of the people, and will help us overcome all difficulties and enemy conspiracies to achieve final victory.
With the indomitable spirit and boundless strength of our nation, with the patriotism and unwavering determination of our people and army, we can win, we will certainly win.
Fellow countrymen,
To all soldiers,
Go forward!
HO CHI MINH
