Improving the quality of advisory work of Party committee offices.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 9, 2014, a conference was held at the Provincial Party Committee Office to summarize the work of the Party Committee Office in 2013 and to implement tasks for 2014. Attending the conference were Comrade Tran Hong Chau – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council. Comrade Tran Cong Duong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office, chaired the conference.

In 2013, the Provincial Party Committee Office and the offices of Party committees at all levels advised on and successfully implemented the annual work program and monthly work schedule of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Party Committee's permanent secretariat. The content included in the work program was carefully considered, focusing on key issues in socio-economic development, national defense and security, Party building, and the political system. The Provincial Party Committee Office and the offices of Party committees at all levels monitored and compiled information on social security and order, security in border areas with religious and ethnic minorities; compiled information on the activities of internal affairs agencies regarding national defense and security tasks and legal reform; and effectively received and forwarded complaints and denunciations to competent authorities at all levels, such as the offices of the district Party committees of Quynh Luu, Vinh City, Nghia Dan, Que Phong, and the Provincial Border Guard.

Overview of the conference

The Provincial Party Committee Office and Party Committee offices at all levels have effectively carried out advisory and support work, promptly assisting the leadership and direction of Party committees and governments at all levels. They have strictly complied with the Cryptography Law and regulations on personnel management and document management issued by the Central Secretariat and the Government. A conference was organized to disseminate the Cryptography Law to leaders and cryptography officers throughout the province.

In 2014, the Provincial Party Committee Office and the offices of Party committees at all levels continued to effectively advise on the development and implementation of the work program of the Party committee, standing committee, and executive committee. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of Resolution 26-NQ/T.Ư of the Politburo on the direction and tasks for the development of Nghe An province until 2020.

Comrade Tran Hong Chau presented a certificate of commendation to Comrade Tran Cong Duong - Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Tran Hong Chau acknowledged the achievements of the Provincial Party Committee's office staff and other levels in 2013. However, he noted some shortcomings, such as: not performing well in the appraisal of economic projects; internal affairs work in the district offices still being disorganized; and information dissemination not being timely, lacking initiative and creativity. He expressed his hope that in the coming year, the Party Committee offices at all levels will improve their advisory work, closely monitor developments in their units and sectors, and promptly handle emerging situations to advise the Party Committee and government. He also hoped that the office staff would further uphold the tradition of loyalty and dedication of office staff.

Awarding certificates of merit to outstanding teams.

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee awarded certificates of merit to 4 outstanding collectives and 3 outstanding individuals, as well as 25 outstanding collectives for their work in the office over the past year.
