Cameroon wins big against Tunisia, wins ticket to World Cup 2014
This is the 7th time in history that Cameroon has appeared in a World Cup.
Last night (November 17), Cameroon defeated Tunisia 4-1 at home in the second leg of the 2014 World Cup qualifiers in Africa to win a ticket to Brazil.
With a 0-0 draw in the first leg, Cameroon only had one chance: to beat Tunisia to get a ticket to Brazil to attend the 2014 World Cup. In the 4th minute, starting from a hesitant clearance by a Tunisian defender, Cameroon defender Webo stole the ball, broke free and successfully shot diagonally, putting Cameroon ahead 1-0.

In the second half, although the away team scored a goal to reduce the score to 1-2, the hope that Tunisia's players had just glimmered was quickly extinguished by Cameroon. In the 66th minute, from a corner kick from the right wing by Alex Song, midfielder Jean Makoun ran past the Tunisian defender and headed the ball past goalkeeper Ben Cherifia from close range, raising the score to 3-1 for Cameroon.
In the 86th minute, Jean Makoun again fired a close-range shot after a chaotic situation in front of the Tunisian goal, sealing a resounding 4-1 victory for Cameroon.
Thus, Cameroon won the 3rd African ticket (after Nigeria and Ivory Coast) to attend the 2014 World Cup. This is the 7th time in history that Cameroon has participated in a World Cup./.
