(Baonghean.vn) -Towards the anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day on July 27, on the morning of July 5, the Association of Victims of Agent Orange Dioxin of Nghe An province in coordination with the Association of Victims of Agent Orange of Do Luong district organized the handover of a house of gratitude to Mr. Nguyen Trong Minh's family in Hamlet 3, Tan Son Commune.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Minh, 83 years old, joined the army in 1953, participated in the fight against the French and many resistance wars in the Southeast battlefields in Quang Nam and Da Nang. After being injured, in 1974 he was transferred to the North for treatment and returned to his hometown with the consequences of the war on Agent Orange dioxin. His family has 4 children, the second daughter, due to Agent Orange poisoning, passed away in early 2013.

Agent Orange Victims Association officials presented a house to Mr. Nguyen Trong Minh.

Faced with the family's difficult circumstances, having to live in a makeshift house, the Party Committee and government supported the family with 25 million VND to renovate the house.

This is a practical activity to show gratitude to those who contributed to the revolution, contributing to encouraging Mr. Minh's family to rise up and stabilize their lives.
