Gas price reduced by 13,000 VND/cylinder from the 2nd day of Tet

Information from gas wholesale businesses shows that from February 1 (the second day of Tet), domestic retail gas prices will be adjusted down by VND13,000/12 kg cylinder, down to VND430,000/cylinder.

Mr. Do Trung Thanh, Deputy Head of Sales Department of Saigon Petro, said that the company will reduce the selling price from 7:30 tomorrow (February 1) by 1,003 VND/kg (including VAT), equivalent to a reduction of 13,000 VND/12 kg cylinder compared to the gas price in early January.

With this discount, the maximum retail gas price to consumers is 430,000 VND/12 kg cylinder.

Representatives of gas companies said that domestic retail gas prices decreased because world gas prices in February decreased by 45 USD/ton, down to an average of 970 USD/ton.
