Award ceremony of the 20th Nghe An Youth Informatics Contest
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 9, at Vinh University of Technical Education, the Organizing Committee of the Nghe An Youth Informatics Competition held the closing ceremony and awarded prizes for the 20th Nghe An Youth Informatics Competition. Attending the closing ceremony was comrade Nguyen Dinh Hung - Provincial Party Committee member - Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union.
This year’s Nghe An Youth Informatics Competition attracted more than 1,000 contestants at the grassroots level. In the provincial competition, 205 contestants participated in two parts (general competition and creative software competition). The general competition included 205 students, including 89 primary school students, 53 secondary school students and 64 high school students. Creative software had 30 products, this is the year with the largest number of contestants participating.
This year's contest also attracted a large number of contestants from mountainous districts such as Quy Chau, Ky Son, Tuong Duong... Although their learning conditions are still difficult, most of them still meet the requirements of the contest. However, the quality of the test in different regions is still uneven. In the multiple choice and practical test, some contestants' test-taking skills are not really solid, so the results are still low; Although there are more creative software, the quality is not high, many software are still simple, software products are monotonous, lacking innovative breakthroughs...
