Towards Hung King's death anniversary

(Baonghean.vn) - In the sacred atmosphere of the whole country towards the Hung King's death anniversary, on the morning of April 9 (March 10 of the lunar calendar) at the National Historical Site of Hong Son Temple (Vinh City), the Vinh City People's Committee solemnly held the Hung King's death anniversary ceremony.

Coming to offer incense and attend the ceremony were comrade Vo Viet Thanh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee; leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; representatives of the People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, associations, departments, branches, and organizations of the city, and a large number of people coming to perform spiritual ceremonies at the Temple.

An ancient temple with Nguyen Dynasty architecture, Hong Son Temple is the only temple in Vinh City to worship Hung Kings. This year, the anniversary was solemnly held, the ceremony included offering Chung cake, Day cake, opening ceremony, announcement, memorial ceremony and grand ceremony. In addition, each ward and commune in Vinh City, each unit has a tray of offerings, to worship Hung Kings.
