(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 11, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to listen to a report on the implementation of Decision No. 22/2013/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on housing support for people with revolutionary contributions. Comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired. Attending were representatives of provincial departments and branches.

Up to now, although the implementation time is not much, the number of meritorious people eligible for housing support is large, but with the close direction of the Provincial People's Committee, departments, organizations, and local authorities at all levels have identified housing support for meritorious people as a key task, a target program to solve social policies, so right from the first capital allocation (from the end of January 2014), the District Steering Committee has organized meetings and resolutely implemented support work for cases of seriously degraded housing. Of the 1,018 households whose first support list has been approved, 733 houses have been and are being built (reaching 72%), the remaining 285 houses are expected to be completed in April 2014. However, compared to the project's target, it is still slow, including the reason that the allocation of central capital is slower than expected; The number of meritorious people eligible for support from the province is large, while the review of the list of supported subjects is still slow...

Based on the opinions of representatives of the Departments and branches, comrade Le Xuan Dai said that the remaining time is very little, so to ensure the completion of the program according to regulations, the Steering Committees of districts and cities need to review the reported data to ensure accuracy of the subjects, ensuring that the subjects belong to houses that need to be newly built or repaired. The relevant departments and branches need to advise the Provincial People's Committee, in which the Department of Finance needs to advise on a plan to allocate budget resources in a timely manner to implement the implementation plan on schedule.
