(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 31, 2013, a working delegation of the 4th Region Command, Navy, led by Colonel Nguyen Van Thu - Deputy Political Commissar of Brigade 146, inspected joint activities in Truong Sa Town (Truong Sa Island), Truong Sa archipelago (Khanh Hoa).
The inspection showed that the cadres, soldiers and people of Truong Sa Town were united, close-knit, always proactively ready to fight, creative in labor and production; created favorable conditions for fishermen from the mainland to exploit seafood; excellently completed all assigned tasks. The Town Party Committee was assessed as clean and strong for many consecutive years. The delegation also presented Tet gifts from the Ministry of National Defense to cadres, soldiers, people, meteorological and maritime officers, abbot of Truong Sa Pagoda and burned incense to pay respect to the souls of martyrs resting on the island.
