Issue mechanisms and policies to promote socio-economic development

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 25, under the chairmanship of comrade Thai Van Hang - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Committee continued the meeting to agree on the Regulations for voting for typical rural industrial products in the province; develop a draft Resolution of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on promoting and developing the health sector in Nghe An province until 2020; Project "Innovation and development of cooperation in Nghe An province, period 2014 - 2020".

Regarding the regulations for voting on typical rural industrial products in the province, members of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of leaders of a number of sectors agreed on the scope of application according to 03 voting levels: commune level, district level and provincial level; the voting subjects are industrial and handicraft products of rural industrial production establishments directly investing in production in rural areas. The voting must comply with the principles, which are to be carried out democratically, publicly and transparently; organizing the voting in order from commune level to district level and provincial level; a rural industrial production establishment can register to participate in voting for many products produced by the establishment.

Regarding the draft Resolution of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on promoting and developing the health sector of Nghe An province until 2020, based on the opinions of a number of members of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of a number of departments and branches, comrade Thai Van Hang suggested that the unit in charge of drafting the resolution, the Department of Health, should review the tasks of the health sector to complete the draft covering the fields of medicine, preventive medicine, medicine and pharmacy, food safety and hygiene to submit to the Provincial Party Standing Committee in the coming time, ensuring that when promulgated, it will be effective, contributing to improving the quality of protecting and taking care of people's health.

Regarding the Project “Innovation and development of cooperation in Nghe An province, period 2014 – 2020”, according to delegates, the issue that needs attention is to build a team of cadres to manage and operate cooperatives with quality and efficiency. Attention should be paid to having appropriate policies for each type, including agricultural cooperatives, environmental cooperatives, small-scale industrial cooperatives and other types of cooperatives.

Comrade Thai Van Hang emphasized: Developing the cooperative economy is an objective necessity, affirming its position in the current economic development process, creating conditions for exploiting and using many human resources, resources, products, and capital sources to promote economic development in each locality. Therefore, the Provincial People's Committee agreed to issue this Project on cooperatives in the coming time.
