(Baonghean.vn) -One day in early April, following a path winding like a thread through mountain valleys and slopes, we arrived at Huoi Son village (Tam Hop - Tuong Duong). Appearing before us was Huoi Son village, nestled amidst the vast forest, seemingly softening the harsh sun of western Nghe An province.
Established in 2008, a relatively short period of time, Huoi Son village has undergone rapid transformation in many aspects thanks to the investment and support from the government and local authorities at the district and commune levels. While the more than 50 Mong households still primarily rely on the forest for production, the villagers have learned to develop livestock farming and cultivate high-value economic crops.
Visiting Huoi Son, we not only see the changes in the villagers but also the unique cultural features of the Mong people in the Tam Hop highlands…
Below are vivid images showcasing the unique cultural characteristics of the Hmong people in Huoi Son.
