(Baonghean.vn) -Over the years, the My Ly Border Guard Station in Ky Son district has consistently strengthened its working teams to reach out to the people in the two communes of Bac Ly and My Ly, helping them develop production and livestock farming, and gradually eliminate hunger and reduce poverty.
The My Ly Border Guard Post (Post 527) is responsible for managing and protecting 46km of the Vietnam-Laos border, including 25km of river and 21km of road. It is one of the largest border guard units in the province. Therefore, managing security and order in Bac Ly and My Ly faces many challenges. To successfully fulfill its nhiệm vụ, the post has intensified its community outreach efforts, working alongside the local people to firmly protect the border region. In addition, the post has sent officers and soldiers to villages to help people develop models of gardens, forests, ponds, and livestock farming, gradually reducing poverty.
