Meeting to prepare for President Ho Chi Minh's death anniversary (July 21st of lunar calendar)

(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of June 6, in Vinh City, under the chairmanship of Comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of Nam Dan district and representatives of relevant departments and agencies met to discuss the Plan to organize the upcoming death anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (on the 21st day of the 7th lunar month, i.e. August 16, 2014).

Comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh chaired the meeting.

Chairman of Nam Dan District People's Committee presented the plan to organize the ceremony.

After discussion, the meeting agreed that the Uncle Ho Memorial Ceremony will be held at the Kim Lien Relic Site at the district level, following traditional, solemn and respectful rituals and ensuring safety, economy and high efficiency. Accordingly, the content of the ceremony will include the opening ceremony, the proclamation ceremony, the great sacrifice ceremony and the thanksgiving ceremony. Attending the ceremony will be representatives of provincial leaders, representatives of departments and localities, along with the Nguyen Sinh family and the people. The 2014 Uncle Ho Memorial Ceremony will be held on the 21st day of the 7th lunar month, which is August 16, 2014.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh requested that the anniversary of Uncle Ho's death must be solemnly organized to honor and express gratitude for his great contributions to the cause of national liberation and national construction; World Cultural Celebrity. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also emphasized: this holiday needs to be widely promoted in society by press agencies, radio and television stations and other mass media. Thereby, contributing to enhancing national pride, encouraging the spirit of patriotism of our people; contributing to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland in the current situation.
