India successfully tested a nuclear-tipped missile

According to THX, on January 20, India successfully tested the Agni IV nuclear-capable long-range surface-to-surface missile from a military base off the coast of the eastern state of Odisha.

"The test-fire of the 4,000 km range missile was successful. Agni IV was launched from Wheeler Island off the Odisha coast at 11:52 am (local time) and the missile flew the full range," sources confirmed.

Agni IV missile possesses many advanced technologies and meets international standards.

This is the third test of the Agni IV missile by India's Defence Research and Development Organisation.

The previous successful test of the Agni IV missile took place in September 2012./.
