Car accident, 2 dead, 3 injured

(Baonghean.vn) - At around 1:10 a.m. on December 31, in Hamlet 6, Dien Ky Commune, Dien Chau District (Nghe An), a series of accidents occurred between 3 cars, killing 2 people and injuring 3 others.

According to witnesses, at that time, the SBK Lao NU-8156 car driven by Mr. Hoang (40 years old), residing in Dien Hong commune, Dien Chau district (Nghe An) was traveling in the South-North direction. There were 3 people in the car, including Mr. Hoang's wife. When arriving at the above location, because they wanted to overtake the car with license plate 17C-01819 going in front, they crossed the road to the opposite direction. At that moment, a fish truck with license plate 29V-6853 going in the opposite direction rushed forward, causing the two cars to collide with very strong force.

Laotian license plate car deformed after accident

The strong collision caused the fish truck to flip onto the road under construction. Two people in the car were thrown out. The driver died on the spot.

The Laotian car lost control after being hit hard, veered across the road and was dragged a short distance by the car with license plate 17C-01819 before stopping. The driver, named Hoang, died on the spot, while two others were injured. Luckily, the two people in the truck suffered minor injuries.

The truck behind crashed into the Lao vehicle and was also badly damaged.

The accident caused two fish trucks and a Lao vehicle to be severely deformed, while the front of truck 17C-01819 was also damaged.

The fish truck was also deformed.

Immediately after the accident, the 5/1 Traffic Police force was present at the scene to separate lanes and investigate the cause of the incident.

By 8am, the fish truck and the Lao truck had been towed away from the scene by rescuers. Vehicle 17C-01819 was waiting for another vehicle to unload the goods.
