(Baonghean.vn) - After more than 5 hours adrift at sea, at 8:30 AM on May 5th, the fishing vessel NA - 0010 - TS and its 6 fishermen were rescued by the forces of Squadron 2 - Nghe An Border Guard and brought safely ashore.

Earlier, at 3:00 AM on May 5th, the fishing vessel NA-0010-TS, captained by Mr. Nguyen Van Loi (35 years old, residing in Nghi Hai ward, Cua Lo town, Nghe An province), was fishing approximately 2 nautical miles south of Hon Ngu island in the Nghe An sea area when it encountered strong waves and winds, causing engine damage, a broken bow, and entanglement of the propeller in the nets, resulting in the vessel losing control and risking sinking. Although the six crew members (all from Nghi Hai ward, Cua Lo town) attempted repairs, they were unsuccessful.
