(Baonghean.vn) - After more than 5 hours drifting at sea, at 8:30 a.m. on May 5, fishing boat NA - 0010 - TS with 6 fishermen on board was rescued by the Coast Guard's Squadron 2 - Nghe An Border Guard and brought safely to shore.

Previously, at 3:00 a.m. on May 5, the fishing boat with registration number NA-0010-TS, captained by Mr. Nguyen Van Loi (35 years old, residing in Nghi Hai ward, Cua Lo town, Nghe An province), was fishing in an area about 2 nautical miles south of Hon Ngu island, in the Nghe An sea area when it encountered big waves and strong winds, damaging the engine, breaking the bow of the boat, and the net entangling the propeller, causing the boat to lose control and risk sinking. Although the 6 crew members (all from Nghi Hai ward, Cua Lo town) tried to fix and repair it, they were unsuccessful.
