Increase credit investment in agricultural and rural areas.

(Baonghean.vn) - On January 20th, the Agricultural Bank of Nghe An province held a conference to summarize its business activities in 2013 and to implement tasks for 2014.

At the end of 2013, despite challenging economic conditions, the Nghe An Agricultural Bank still strived to excel in all aspects of its operations, improving the quality of credit in agricultural and rural investment. By the end of 2013, total managed and mobilized capital reached nearly VND 13,813 billion, an increase of nearly VND 2,060 billion compared to the beginning of the year, a growth rate of 17.5%. Loan disbursements reached VND 13,595 billion, an increase of VND 2,662 billion compared to the same period last year, a growth rate of 24.3%. Total outstanding loans and investments reached over VND 10,975 billion, an increase of 28.5% compared to the beginning of the year. Of this, outstanding loans serving agriculture and rural areas reached VND 10,081 billion, accounting for nearly 92% of the total outstanding loans; non-performing loans accounted for only 0.48%.

The leaders of the Provincial Agricultural Bank presented certificates of commendation to the branches that had excellently fulfilled their duties.

In 2014, the Nghe An Agricultural Bank strived to achieve a 15% growth in domestic currency capital and a 15% increase in outstanding loans to the economy compared to the beginning of the year; the ratio of outstanding loans to agriculture and rural areas reached 90% of total outstanding loans; continued to promote capital mobilization, maintaining its leading role in credit investment and services in the rural financial market, being a trusted partner for tens of thousands of households and businesses in the area; and continuously innovated comprehensively, improving the quality of operations, ensuring safety and efficiency.
