Non-priority groups who buy tickets in groups also get a 30% discount, specifically a single-route ticket is 70,000 VND and a multi-route ticket is 140,000 VND. Non-priority groups have seen a single-route ticket price increase from 90,000 VND to 100,000 VND, an increase of 11%, and a multi-route ticket price increase from 140,000 VND to 200,000 VND, an increase of 43%.

The adjusted bus fare increase will be applied from May 1.

According to the Department of Transport, after increasing bus fares, revenue will increase, gradually reducing subsidies from the State budget. The increase in revenue from this price adjustment is to invest in vehicle innovation, upgrade bus infrastructure, gradually improve service quality, expand service areas so that people can choose buses for their travel needs in the area, and limit personal vehicles.
