The maps and documents displayed on the islands also help officials and people from the mainland, as well as overseas Vietnamese, to better understand the historical and legal evidence affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos when they visit the islands. This contributes to raising awareness, fostering solidarity, and instilling a sense of responsibility among people at home, overseas Vietnamese, and especially young people, in protecting the sovereignty of the Fatherland.

The maps and documents on display are historical and legal evidence proving Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos. These documents show that Vietnamese states, from the feudal period, through decades of foreign domination and invasion, have explored, established, exercised, and protected national sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos. This is a continuous, long-term process, carried out peacefully, and documented in numerous historical sources from Vietnam and other countries.

The exhibition includes key document groups such as: Documents issued by the Vietnamese feudal court from the 17th to the early 20th centuries, affirming Vietnam's continuous establishment and exercise of sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos. Of particular note is the collection of 19 imperial decrees from the Nguyen dynasty, dating from the reign of Minh Mang (1820-1841) to the reign of Bao Dai (1925-1945), reflecting the continuous process of establishing and protecting sovereignty under the Nguyen dynasty. These documents were researched, selected, translated, and published by the National Border Committee (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), and collected and donated by researcher Phan Thuan An.
The atlas comprises 60 maps proving Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos, published by Vietnam, the West, and China from the 16th century to the present; 15 versions of administrative documents from France and the Republic of Vietnam concerning the exercise of sovereignty over the Hoang Sa archipelago; and 5 versions of Han Nom documents from the 2nd year of Gia Long (1803) to the 17th year of Minh Mang (1836) recording the establishment of a military force to survey the Hoang Sa archipelagoes.
On this occasion, the Ministry of Information and Communications, in coordination with the Khanh Hoa Provincial Post Office, established a community post office in Truong Sa town and Sinh Ton island commune - Truong Sa district. They also presented a set of maps and historical documents proving Vietnam's sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa to Sinh Ton and Nam Yet island communes in the Truong Sa archipelago. Additionally, they donated 70 digital receivers and dozens of SIM cards to officers, soldiers, and people on the Truong Sa archipelago to meet their information needs and improve their spiritual lives.
At the end of the working trip, the Naval Command presented commemorative medals for contributions to the protection of the nation's maritime sovereignty and islands, the Truong Sa soldier badge to the delegates, and awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements.
