(Baonghean) - On the morning of February 19th, the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district and Quynh Luong commune held a ceremony to receive the Certificate recognizing Quy Linh Temple as a Historical Monument.

The Quy Linh Temple, built hundreds of years ago, is steeped in the legendary history of the figures worshipped there. It is also considered the birthplace of the Four Holy Mothers worship tradition throughout Vietnam. Over its centuries of existence, the site has preserved and witnessed many important historical events of the locality, closely linked to the nation's history of building and defending the country under the Tran and Le dynasties, as well as during the later resistance against the French.

The temple is renowned for its sacredness, imposing architecture, beautiful scenery, and diverse and richly crafted ritual objects. In 1979, the temple became a ruin. In 2010, Quy Linh Temple was restored on its original site. The temple was recognized as a Provincial Historical Monument by the Provincial People's Committee on August 12, 2013.
