Welcome to the article "Traditional golden book or scam?"

(Baonghean) - Nghe An Newspaper No. 9812 published on April 22, 2014 published an investigative report "Traditional Golden Book or Fraudulent Tricks?" reflecting that My Dung Digital Color Photo Company Limited (118 Cat Cut, Le Chan District, Hai Phong City) had signs of taking advantage of the reputation of 2 organizations: Veterans Association and Association of the Elderly (NCT) to defraud and profit. After the newspaper published, on May 8, 2014, the Association of the Elderly of Nghe An province issued Official Dispatch No. 214/BTV-NCT welcoming and thanking the newspaper's Editorial Board and reporter Tuong Anh for reflecting on the poor performance of My Dung Digital Color Photo Company Limited.

The document stated: For the Provincial Elderly Association, there have been many previousCompanies such as My Dung (Hai Phong), Yen Dung, Hoang Tuyet (Hanoi)... came to meet or contacted by phone and asked to organize card making and card issuance services; making "Traditional Golden Books" with attached photos of members; making "Old Age - Good Example" certificates with attached photos for free... We asked them to present their practice licenses in Nghe An issued by the Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism before we could sign a specific contract on how to do it. First, we piloted one facility, learned from the experience of the practice, then expanded to the entire district; after summarizing in one district, we expanded to the entire province. The contract clearly stated the price of photo making services (if the elderly have a need) according to photo size, paper type, frame type... But no company was able to get a practice license from the Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

We have twice reported to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Elderly Association about the issue of making photos, changing cards and making "Traditional Golden Books"; the Central Committee has responded twice and we have photocopied the official dispatch and sent it to the district, city, and town, clearly stating that the Central Committee of the Association has no policy on those issues.

Although without our introduction, My Dung Digital Color Photo Company Ltd. and some other companies still went to the Elderly Association of some districts and establishments to practice services, which is not good, showing signs of "fraud and profiteering" as reported in the newspaper. A digital color photo company is not qualified to issue "Old age - bright example" certificates with attached photos of the elderly; especially the elderly who are not exemplary; causing mutual doubts within the Elderly Association and in fact there have been cases that have come to us to report.

After Nghe An Newspaper published an article on April 22 reflecting "Traditional golden book or scam?" by My Dung Digital Color Photo Company Ltd., the Provincial Elderly Association called the Elderly Associations of all districts, cities and towns to read the article to be alert to the scams of My Dung Digital Color Photo Company Ltd. and other companies outside the province operating in Nghe An. At the same time, a survey was conducted at all establishments that issued "Old age - bright example" certificates and it was made clear that the certificates made by My Dung Digital Color Photo Company Ltd. and similar papers are invalid.
