Quang Ngai: From September 1st, E5 bio-fuel will be distributed en masse.

On May 31, the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, the Departments under the Ministry of Industry and Trade and representatives of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group agreed on the Plan to simultaneously deploy the distribution of E5 bio-fuel in Quang Ngai province from September 1, 3 months earlier than the schedule according to Decision No. 53/2012/QD-TTg dated November 22, 2012 of the Prime Minister.

Accordingly, Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Company (BSR) ensures full facilities and legal basis to blend and distribute E5 gasoline to all gasoline trading centers in Quang Ngai province.

All petrol stations in Quang Ngai province only distribute E5 Ron 92 gasoline (replacing all Mogas 92 gasoline) and simultaneously circulate Mogas 95 gasoline.

While waiting for the state's policy mechanism, applying the retail price of E5 gasoline equal to the selling price of Mogas 92 gasoline on the market, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group directed BSR to study and apply a specific E5 gasoline price policy mechanism for key points to encourage businesses to participate in distributing E5 gasoline in the province.

The People's Committee of Quang Ngai province also issued a plan to deploy E5 gasoline distribution in the province in the first week of June. From June 1, E5 gasoline distribution will begin and by September 1 this year, it will be deployed simultaneously in the province.

The People's Committee of Quang Ngai province, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group and the Vietnam National Petroleum Group established a Working Group led by the Department of Industry and Trade of Quang Ngai province to deploy and handle issues arising in the process of implementing the Plan of the Provincial People's Committee. Focus on propagating the implementation of the Plan for distributing E5 gasoline in Quang Ngai.

According to Decision No. 53/2012/QD-TTg dated November 22, 2012 of the Prime Minister, E5 gasoline, from December 1, will be produced, blended, and traded for use in road motor vehicles consumed in the provinces and cities of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Can Tho, Quang Ngai and Ba Ria-Vung Tau./.
