(Baonghean.vn) -To commemorate the 59th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day, on the afternoon of February 26th, a delegation from the 4th Military Region Command, led by Major General Nguyen Chi Huong - Deputy Commander of the Military Region, visited and congratulated medical staff and doctors of the Nghe An Department of Health and the Military Medical Department, Hospital 4, and the Preventive Medicine Team under the Military Region Command.

Presenting flowers to congratulate the officials and staff of the Nghe An Department of Health, Major General Nguyen Chi Huong congratulated the achievements of the Nghe An provincial health sector in the past period, and at the same time expressed his hope that the leaders of the Nghe An Provincial Department of Health would continue to direct the provincial units to closely coordinate with the military medical forces of the Military Region to effectively implement the 12-point military-civilian medical cooperation program, and organize healthcare for soldiers and people in the area.

During his visit to congratulate the Military Medical Department, Hospital 4, and the Preventive Medicine Team under the Military Region Command, Major General Nguyen Chi Huong urged the medical staff to build upon their achievements, continue to cultivate medical ethics, constantly learn and improve their skills, especially by effectively applying new techniques of modern medicine, and make more practical contributions to medical examination and treatment, disease prevention and control, and the protection and care of the health of soldiers and the people, fulfilling President Ho Chi Minh's teaching: "A good doctor is like a loving mother."
