Passenger bus causes multiple accidents, 1 person dies

(Baonghean.vn) - At around 8:30 a.m. on May 10, at the intersection of National Highway 46 and Vinh City bypass (Nghe An), a very serious traffic accident occurred.

According to some witnesses of the accident, at that time, Mr. Nguyen Trong Quynh, born in 1963, residing in Hamlet 11, Nam Giang Commune, Nam Dan District, Nghe An, was driving a motorbike on National Highway 46 in the direction of Nam Dan - Vinh City. When he reached the intersection between National Highway 46 and Vinh bypass, he was suddenly hit head-on by a passenger bus with license plate number: 36B-005.67 (driver unknown). Without stopping, the passenger bus continued to hit a 7-seat car in the direction of Vinh - Nam Dan.

The accident caused Mr. Quynh to die on the spot; the car was severely damaged, the front part was thrown off; the front of the passenger bus was also damaged in some parts.

Upon receiving the news, the Traffic Police of Hung Nguyen District quickly arrived at the scene to regulate and direct traffic.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
