Organizing the "Tree Planting Ceremony in Eternal Gratitude to the Heroic Martyrs"

(Baonghean.vn) - On February 11, 2014, at the Martyrs' Cemetery in Nam Dan district, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, in coordination with Prudential Vietnam Insurance Company, organized the 2014 Tree Planting Ceremony to commemorate the heroic martyrs.

Attending the ceremony were representatives from the Provincial Youth Union and more than 150 officials and youth union members from Nam Dan district.

Delegates and youth groups participated in tree planting.

This is a practical activity of the youth of Nam Dan in particular, and the youth of the whole province in general, in response to the theme of the 2014 Youth Volunteer Year, demonstrating the pioneering spirit of young people in caring for and protecting trees, protecting the environment, and responding to climate change. It also calls on all levels, sectors, units, businesses, and people to continue supporting and joining hands in planting and protecting trees.

Following the launching ceremony, delegates and youth union members planted more than 140 trees, including species such as black star, banyan, and cycad, around the Martyrs' Cemetery in the district.
