The first Nghe An Tam Tai Fund Award

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 15, in Vinh City, the first award ceremony of the Tam Tai Nghe An Fund took place for individuals and groups with achievements in contributing to the development of Nghe An.

The award ceremony was attended by comrades Vuong Dinh Hue - Member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Economic Commission, Nguyen The Ky - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Commission, Le Doan Hop - former Minister of Information and Communications. On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Dinh Thi Le Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; the Association for the Promotion of Education, provincial departments, branches and sectors and collectives and individuals honored to receive the award.

The Nghe An Heart and Talent Fund was established on November 20, 2012 by founders from all three regions of the North, Central and South. The Fund operates on a voluntary and non-profit basis, aiming to encourage domestic and foreign organizations and individuals with "Heart and Talent", contributing to the construction of Nghe An homeland and Nghe An people studying and working in the homeland to achieve outstanding achievements, contributing to the construction and development of the homeland.

Mr. Le Doan Hop - former Minister of Information and Communications, Chairman of the Council of Tam Tai Nghe An Fund, said that in the coming time, the Fund will continue to promote and call on domestic and foreign organizations and individuals; those who have a heart for Nghe An to develop the fund. In the immediate future, in 2014, the advisory board and the fund management board decided to choose Ky Son district - the poorest district of Nghe An, if students pass the regular university entrance exam, the fund will support 500,000 VND/month until the end of the study period.

52 groups and individuals received Tam Tai Fund awards

After one year of operation, Tam Tai Nghe An Fund has decided to award 52 groups and individuals in the fields of socio-economics, science and technology, education and training, national security and defense, culture and arts, sports... with a total prize of more than 450 million VND.

Among them, there are typical individuals and groups such as: martyr Nguyen Tai Dung - former Deputy Director of Nghe An Department of Industry and Trade who sacrificed his life on the way to help flood victims in Hoang Mai town in October 2013, Ms. Nguyen Thao Van - "Talent - Willpower of Vietnam" award presented by the President, Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, young singer Pham Thi Huong Tram - excellent artist in 2013, First prize of The Voice of Vietnam 2012...
