On March 10, Malaysian officials said they were still unable to confirm that the debris seen in Vietnamese waters belonged to the missing flight MH370.

"Unfortunately, we have not found anything that appears to be from the (Malaysia Airlines) plane yet," said Azharuddin Abdul Rahman, head of Malaysia's Civil Aviation Department.

Previously, on the evening of March 9, a Vietnamese military helicopter reported seeing and marking the coordinates of an object suspected to be plane debris 80 km southwest of Tho Chu Island.

By the morning of March 10, although five Vietnamese rescue ships had approached the above location, they still could not find the above objects.

Thus, more than two days have passed since the mysterious disappearance of the Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777-200, but search forces have yet to find any trace of the plane despite mobilizing a large number of ships and planes./.
