Statistics at the end of the exam this morning from the Ministry of Education and Training showed that the ratio of candidates coming to take the exam compared to the number of candidates registering to take the exam reached 77.62% - a slight increase compared to last year's exam.

Accordingly, out of a total of 767,682 candidates registered for the first round of exams in blocks A, A1 and V of this year's university entrance exam, 595,863 candidates attended the exam this morning. To serve this number of candidates, the Ministry of Education and Training mobilized nearly 80,000 staff to participate in the enrollment work.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, the morning Math exam had no errors and was kept absolutely confidential in all stages. The Admissions Councils strictly implemented the regulations of the Admissions Regulations; the exam atmosphere was orderly and safe. Violations of the Admissions Regulations were detected and handled seriously and promptly. There were no traffic jams in major cities, and candidates arrived on time for the exam. Electricity and water were also supplied stably at all Examination Councils, and there were no sudden power or water outages.

Nationwide, 22 candidates were disciplined for violations, a decrease of 16 cases compared to 2013, of which 1 was reprimanded; 2 were warned; and 12 were suspended, all for carrying cell phones.

To support the exam to take place safely and seriously, localities, unions, social organizations, associations, businesses, philanthropists, youth forces, volunteer students, etc. continue to actively and effectively deploy activities: participating in traffic diversion; helping and guiding candidates to exam locations; coordinating to maintain security and order outside exam areas; supporting cheap lodgings, free meals; transporting candidates to exam locations...

The total number of student volunteers participating in supporting candidates for the exam is up to 22,000 students. Social organizations support 30,200 free meals and nearly 39,000 free seats for candidates during this exam period.
