Hung Nguyen: Summary of 15 years of implementing Directive 34-CT/TW

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 2, 2014, the Hung Nguyen District Party Committee held a conference to summarize 15 years of implementing Directive 34-CT/TW dated May 30, 1998, of the Politburo (8th term) on "Strengthening political and ideological work; consolidating Party organizations, mass organizations and Party member development in schools" and 10 years of implementing Directive 40-CT/TW dated June 15, 2004, of the Central Party Secretariat "On building and improving the quality of teachers and educational management staff". Attending the conference was Comrade Thai Khac Thu - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department.

Awards were presented to officials with outstanding achievements.

After 15 years of implementing Directive 34 and 10 years of implementing Directive 40, with the timely guidance and attention of the Party committees, government, and political and social organizations from the district to the grassroots level, the implementation of the directives in Hung Nguyen district has achieved many positive results: 100% of Party members, cadres, teachers, and staff in the Education and Training sector have the required cultural and professional qualifications, and 100% of teachers meet the standards...

With the goal of building strong and clean school Party branches, the Hung Nguyen education sector currently has 859 Party members, accounting for 61.2% of the total number of teachers and staff in the sector, an increase of 574 Party members compared to 1998. Each year, each Party branch recruits 1-2 new Party members. Annual classification results show that over 96% of school Party branches meet the standards of being strong and clean, with no weak branches. Based on this, the district has reviewed and reorganized the teaching staff and management staff to gain experience in training and improving the professional skills and ethics of teachers and education management staff. The leadership of the Party is being strengthened in building and improving the quality of the teaching staff and education management staff. Also at the conference, the district reviewed the 5-year implementation of Resolution No. 20-NQ/TU, dated June 26, 2009, of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on continuing to promote population and family planning work in the new situation.

On this occasion, the Hung Nguyen District Party Committee awarded commendations to 17 outstanding collectives and individuals for their achievements over the past 15 years in implementing Directive 34 and the past 10 years in implementing Directive 40.
