Nghe An College of Education: Awarding Vietnamese language graduation certificates to Lao students

(Baonghean.vn)- After a period of studying Vietnamese in Nghe An, 91 students from Lao PDR have completed the program, many with excellent results.

On July 30, Nghe An Pedagogical College held the Closing Ceremony of the Basic Vietnamese Language Training Class for Lao PDR students, Course 11 (2013 - 2014). Attending the ceremony were leaders of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Provincial Police, the Board of Directors of Nghe An Pedagogical College, teachers and 91 Lao students.

Performances by Lao students.

In 2013, under the assignment of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, Nghe An College of Education organized the opening of a basic Vietnamese language training class for 91 students from 6 provinces of Lao PDR. These are high school students, university students and officials and civil servants from provinces in Laos, studying Vietnamese with the aim of improving their foreign language proficiency, as a basis for participating in university, master's, doctoral training programs as well as other professional development programs in Vietnam.

Course representatives presented gifts to school leaders.

After nearly 1 year of study, the students have mastered skills such as listening, speaking, reading, writing and communicating in Vietnamese fluently, meeting the standards to absorb the knowledge of Vietnamese language training programs of universities and colleges in Vietnam, many of them have excellent academic performance.

At the closing ceremony, representatives of Lao students expressed their deep gratitude to the teachers, school management board as well as the government and people of Nghe An province for creating conditions for them to complete the course. These are specific and practical actions, demonstrating the solidarity and close relationship between the two brotherly countries of Vietnam and Laos.

Over the years, Nghe An College of Education has always done a good job in training basic Vietnamese language and culture for students of Lao PDR. There have been 11 basic Vietnamese language training courses organized, thousands of graduates are doing different tasks in Laos.
