Speed up site clearance work on National Highway 1A section through Vinh City
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 11, at Nghi Kim commune, Vinh City People's Committee held a working session to inspect site clearance work to speed up the progress of site clearance for the National Highway 1A project, the North-South railway intersection and National Highway 1A.
Comrade Ha Thanh Tinh - Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee - Chairman of the City Compensation and Site Clearance Council chaired the meeting. Secretaries and Chairmen of Nghi Kim and Nghi Lien communes; Secretaries and hamlet chiefs of related hamlets also participated.

Vinh City has 5.54 km of National Highway 1A running through it, and has handed over 3 km of the 5.54 km, reaching 60%. The Compensation Council at all levels has directly visited the problem areas to propagate and educate, and at the same time find out the causes of problems in the compensation work.

Also during the working session, the City Compensation Council discussed and assigned tasks to each working group to quickly carry out compensation items for land clearance and handover before April 30. Speaking at the working session, comrade Ha Thanh Tinh - Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee affirmed: "Although the land clearance work on National Highway 1A through Vinh City is currently facing many difficulties, however, determining this as the number one political task, authorities at all levels from the city to the grassroots where National Highway 1A passes through need to complete the assigned items within the time committed to the City Compensation Council for Land Clearance and Compensation. At the same time, quickly organize dialogues with people where people do not agree to explain and propagate; for construction units, if there is a site, they must immediately start construction."
