According to Reuters, Indian government sources said on June 5 that the country's new Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to meet President Barack Obama at a bilateral summit, scheduled to be held in Washington in September.

According to sources, Mr. Modi has accepted President Obama's invitation to visit the United States. The two sides have set a date for the meeting, tentatively scheduled for the last week of September.
